The City of Eagle Lake will have its annual Spring Clean-up Day on Saturday, May 11, 2019. This pick-up is for Eagle Lake residents only! You must live in Eagle Lake in order to participate.

  • No construction materials, paints, chemicals, or hazardous materials will be accepted. A list of acceptable and unacceptable items can be found on the next page.
  • Old appliances can be picked up at the same time. The cost to have an appliance picked up is $15 per appliance (non-refundable). Appliance tags can be purchased at City Hall during regular business hours and must be purchased no later than 3:00 PM, Friday, May 10, 2019. Appliances without the required tag will not be picked up.
  • Appliances that will be accepted include: clothes washer, clothes dryer, hot water heater, heat pump, furnace, trash compactor, stove, stove-top, conventional oven, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner, humidifier.
  • All items, including appliances, must be on the boulevard by 7:00 AM.
  • Recycling of electronic equipment will be available! A drop site will be set up in the City Hall parking lot on Saturday, May 11 from 8:00 AM—12 noon. Cost varies by type of equipment and the fee(s) are due when you bring your item(s) in. A list of acceptable items and prices can be found on the next page. Please note: prices are set by the vendor and subject to change without notice. Items must be presented to the attendant at the site during these times only—do not leave items at the site. Payment will be accepted with cash to vendor.

  • For information on household hazardous waste disposal, please call the Blue Earth County Regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility Hotline at 507.304.4242. The facility is located at 651 Summit Ave., Mankato. They are open seasonal hours April through October of each year: Tuesday 12:00 PM—6:00 PM., and the 2nd Saturday of each month (during the season) 8:00 AM—12:30 PM.
