A listing of approved permits is now available on the City of Eagle Lake website for the public to access.
Each year, door-to-door peddling and soliciting raises questions from Eagle Lake residents. The City encourages residents to report any suspicious activity to the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office by calling 911 or using the non-emergency line by contacting 507-304-4863.

If you feel uncomfortable opening your door, DON’T.
DON’T let someone in your home, even if they have a license.
Ask the person to show you their license. Contact City Hall with any questions or to verify that a person is registered. Please note that issuance of a license does not constitute an endorsement by the City of Eagle Lake for the particular company/business. The City urges residents to do their due diligence in checking out the vendor/company (Better Business Bureau, obtaining referrals, etc.).
