Mosquito Control Update for Eagle Lake

The next scheduled mosquito treatment in our community will take place on Monday, September 8. The City contracts with Clarke Mosquito Control to perform these treatments. This year, a total of nine treatments were scheduled for the spring and summer months, and all have been completed as planned. With the recent stretch of wet and rainy weather, mosquito activity has noticeably increased. Looking at the weather, there is a cold front coming in midweek, which may help with the mosquitoes.  At this time, the final treatment will take place as scheduled, on September 8th.  If there are any changes to the schedule, we will notify community members.
