2025 Street Repairs

The Eagle Lake City Council, at its September 8, 2025 meeting, approved a $52,479.90 proposal from WW Blacktopping, Inc. for street repair work. The mill and overlay project began late last week, and the contractor will return next week to complete the process. Milling removes the top 1.5 inches of pavement in targeted areas, and the overlay applies a fresh layer of bituminous to create a smoother, safer surface and extend the life of the street. Milled areas can be driven over with caution until work is finished. Each year, the City allocates funds in its street repair budget to maintain roadways proactively, helping preserve Eagle Lake streets, improve drivability, and prevent more costly repairs in the future.
