City Receives Grants for Child Care, Fire Department, and Parks

The City of Eagle Lake is pleased to announce three generous grant awards that will support important community initiatives.

The City’s Economic Development Authority (EDA) and the Rural Child Care Innovation Program (RCCIP) have received a $10,000 grant from the Taylor Family Farms Foundation. These funds will be used to establish a forgivable childcare loan program, helping to strengthen childcare services and support local providers in Eagle Lake.

Former Eagle Lake resident Paul Kleist, on behalf of Pembina, has awarded a $7,500 grant to the City Park Board. This contribution will fund the installation of a new drinking water fountain at Lake Eagle Park.

In addition, Pembina awarded the Fire Department a $5,000 grant to help purchase life safety items such as grain bin extrication equipment.
