FEMA Individual Assistance and Disaster Support

If you sustained property damage due to flooding between June 16 and July 2, 2024, be sure to submit an application via the FEMA website:  https://ow.ly/PyhP50T1Bcv and click on the red “Let’s Get Started” button, download the FEMA mobile app, or call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362.

If you prefer to speak to someone in person, FEMA has established a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Blue Earth County Justice Center (401 Carver Road, Mankato).  The DRC is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., seven days a week.  In addition, FEMA’s Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) Teams will be in Blue Earth County, beginning on August 24th.  A team of about 12 individuals working in groups of 2 will be canvassing Blue Earth County to provide outreach to impacted individuals and businesses.  The initial outreach will start in the City of Mankato and last at least a week.  After that, they will move into the rural areas and smaller cities including Eagle Lake.
