Sewer Cleaning and Televising Work Scheduled in Eagle Lake – Week of June 23
Each year, as part of its maintenance program, the City of Eagle Lake partners with Overline & Son, Inc. to clean and televise sections of the sanitary sewer system—helping monitor pipe conditions and prevent future blockages.
Annual cleaning and televising of the City’s sanitary sewer system is essential to monitor the condition of the sewer mains and to prevent potential blockages before they occur.
This year, cleaning and televising will take place in the following areas:
- Colodoro Lane
- Foxborough Court
- Concetta Trail
- Cranberry Court
- James Court
- Quail Court
- 300–400 blocks of Perry Street
- Thomas Drive (from Joan Lane to Agency Street South)
Work is scheduled to occur throughout the week, weather permitting. You may notice crews and equipment in these areas, but service disruptions are not expected.
According to Overline & Son, Inc., no significant disruptions to public services are expected during this process. However, in some cases, air may vent into homes through the service line and ventilation system. This can cause water in toilet bowls to bubble or surge—and in rare instances, water may splash out of the bowl. To help prevent this, residents are advised to keep toilet lids closed while work is being performed in their area. Additionally, pouring water into any floor drains can help minimize potential odors during the sanitary sewer cleaning process.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain safe and efficient infrastructure in our community.
